What about groups?
Yes! We are open and available to groups from April - November. Our entertaining and educational shows are perfect for student and adult groups. Group shows are available in October and include some interactive participation on stage, complete with a mini mock trial and demonstrations on unusual punishments from 1692. For more information on groups visiting Salem, Massachusetts, visit our Groups page.
Is it scary?
Yes. Due to the content, the show does has some starling and scary moments. The darkened theatre provides the perfect setting for witchcraft and the supernatural. Witches, ghosts, and strange entities make appearances, and our special effects, including ghostly fog, and “4D” elements intend to frighten you. Our "fright plank" extends into the audience, so the thrills are quite close to you. We suggest sitting close to the stage if you want a thrill, and further back if you are a bit jumpy. It is reccommended that if you have a child(or an adult!) that has some reservations about going in, or is frightened before hand, it's best to stay out in the lobby.
